DESIGN AND ENGINEERING:
Proven and patented products are routinely designed and engineered by our
staff. Large companies seek our expertise developing products for world wide
marketing. Our staff is second to none and has a wide range of personal and
professional experience allowing us to develop products which become
standards in the specific industry.
TOOLING:
Whether it is prototyping utilizing composite materials or production
tooling in aluminum, Maryland Thermoform manufactures tooling in house to
world class procedures and tolerances. State of the art CNC Milling machines
provide close tolerance tooling at cost effective prices to our customers.
In 2003, we added another new Haas CNC Machining center.
FORMING:
Maryland Thermoform’s wide range of thermoforming
capabilities include gauges of .0075 to .375. This range allows us to solve
99% of the thermoform plastic problems placed before us. We offer inline,
rotary and single station forming machine capabilities to give the most cost
effective solutions to our customer.
FABRICATION/TRIMMING:
In 2003, we added a new Thermwood CNC 5 axis router replacing and upgrading
our 5 axis machine. This new machine allows us to be more cost efficient and
quicker in producing secondary finishing operations to thermoform parts as
well as supply heat bent and fabricated products.
ASSEMBLY:
New to our capabilities in 2003 include heat sealing and hot stamping. We
can now assemble our products to a customer's specific package requirement.
This allows our customers to single source a product from us thus removing
middlemen and multiple cost markups.
